Ciao Bella!

For this fifth edition of Route Halifax Saint-Pierre, Philippe Paturel will race the new Archambault A40rc "Ciao Bella!" doublehanded with his old friend Sylvain Barrielle. As part of a crew of 8, Sylvain and Philippe won the last edition in IRC on the smaller Archambault A35, but this year "Our goal is different" said Paturel. Normally, this forty is crewed with 10 people and it will be a real challenge to race "Ciao Bella!" from Halifax to Saint-Pierre doublehanded. "I am sure we will enjoy racing together Sylvain and myself. We've been very active promoting the Archambault boats all across North America since mid 2008 and we are looking forward to the challenge of racing Ciao Bella! home in Saint-Pierre!".

"Ciao!" (shown in the photos) is a sistership to "Ciao Bella!". Both are "demo" A40rc's owned by Archambault Boats North America.

This summer Sylvain is promoting the A40rc on the west coast by campaigning "Ciao!" out of San Fransisco while Philippe is doing the same on the east coast with "Ciao Bella !", based at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.
