Bleu 35 is a Class 40, designed by Samuel Manuard. She is constructed of vacuum bagged epoxy reinforced fibre over Corecell foam.
Bleu 35 was built in Montreal to compete in the 2008 Quebec St.-Malo race. Unfortunately she was prevented from doing so when her mast broke a month before the start. The crew’s current goal is to compete in the 2012 edition with a well prepared crew and an optimized boat.
Having sailed more than 10,000 miles around the North Atlantic, Bleu 35 is currently in the Caribbean. She will be returning to Canada in June to start preparing for Route Halifax Saint-Pierre.
