There will be a PHRF and IRC racing Class for single-hulled cruiser/racer yachts with current PHRF handicaps.
Yachts will arrive in Saint-Pierre on July 13-14.
Another race consisting of an inshore race will be organized after arrival in Saint-Pierre.
The ALLIANZ Grand Prix will count for the final result of RHSP for the founders trophy and will be prized separatly as a thanks to the population of Saint-Pierre.
Registration and Rules
Notice of Race will be published here on the official race Web site as soon as it's available.
All yachts must conform to the Offshore Racing Council Special Regulations Category 2. They will be inspected prior to the start of their class. Special regulations can be found at www.orc.org.
In addition, yachts must possess a PHRF New England rating certificate or an IRC certificate. Racing results will be calculated based on time-on time scoring.
Tracking
As in 2008, we will have an interactive, live tracking system for all boats that will allow spectators to follow the progress of their favourite boat. The 2010 Tracking will be provided by iBoat Track.
