Events in Saint-Pierre
July 10th - Opening of the "Café de la Route"
Located near the Yacht Club of St.Pierre, the "Café de la Route" will welcome the public as well as racers with live music, radio and live tv show from the site, food and drinks. You can also follow the race from the Café on the internet and enjoy a slideshow of the previous editions of the race.

July 15th or 16th: The Sailors Parade
All crew will join at City Hall in a Parade where a symbolic Maple Three will be offered to the Town of Saint-Pierre followed by a "fabulous" cocktail reception offered by the Mayor.

July 13th, 15th or 16th : Grand Prix ALLIANZ
All the fleet will race around cans in the Saint-Pierre harbour. Live TV coverage and special prizes.
This race is considered as a thank you from the sailors to the people of Saint-Pierre.

July 14th - Bastille Day!
Take time to enjoy the typical french animations of the "14 Juillet", the National Day. All kinds of games for the crew, live music, food and beverages and fire works later in the evening.

July 15th - 16th - Grand Prix Results - RHSP Prize presentation
All crew are invited to a wonderfull three course dinner followed by Prize Presentation and live music until... the morning after!

July 19, 2010 - Saint-Pierre et Miquelon
to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
This Inauguaral event immediatly follows the Route Halifax Saint-Pierre Race and promises to be an exciting addition to the seasons racing schedule.

The Ocean One Race will start in the summer of 2010 from the French territories of Saint Pierre and Miquelon and follow an easterly route 200 nautical miles to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The race will bring you on a journey around the majestic and rugged shoreline of Newfoundland’s south east coast and provide an opportunity to experience the many natures of North Atlantic Ocean from her raw power to her peaceful solitude.
